Crocodile Without Teeth Bites Elephant
Along the edge of a quiet African river, an enormous elephant approached the water to drink. The afternoon was hot, and the elephant slowly lowered its trunk into the muddy river. Beneath the surface, an old crocodile was resting among the reeds.
This crocodile had lost most of its teeth over the years, making it difficult to hunt like it once did. However, when the elephant stepped closer, the crocodile suddenly opened its jaws and lunged forward.
With a powerful snap, the toothless crocodile grabbed the elephant’s leg. Although its bite could no longer cause the same damage as a younger crocodile, the sudden attack startled the elephant. The elephant trumpeted loudly and pulled its leg away.
The crocodile refused to give up. It twisted its body and tried to hold on, while the elephant swung its trunk and stomped the muddy ground. After several tense seconds, the elephant managed to break free and moved toward deeper water.
The crocodile slowly disappeared beneath the surface, while the elephant stood safely on the riverbank.
The surprising encounter showed that even an old crocodile without teeth could still be bold, powerful, and dangerous when defending its territory.
