A Puppy Runs Into a Beehive and Is Stung by a Bee
It was a bright and sunny morning on a small farm where a playful puppy named Max loved to explore. Max was full of energy and curiosity. Every day, he would run around the yard, chasing butterflies, sniffing flowers, and investigating anything that caught his attention.
One day, while racing across the grass, Max spotted a strange buzzing sound coming from a nearby tree. His ears perked up, and his tail wagged excitedly. He had never heard anything quite like it before. Without thinking twice, the curious puppy ran straight toward the sound.
Hanging from a low branch was a large beehive. Hundreds of bees were busy flying in and out, collecting nectar and making honey. But Max didn't know what a beehive was. To him, it looked like an interesting toy swinging gently in the breeze.
The puppy jumped up and barked at the hive. Then, in a burst of excitement, he nudged it with his nose. Suddenly, the hive shook. The buzzing grew louder, and a bee flew toward Max.
Before he could run away, the bee stung him right on the nose.
"Ouch!" Max yelped, jumping backward. His nose hurt, and he didn't understand what had happened. The buzzing bees swirled around him, so he quickly dashed across the yard as fast as his little legs could carry him.
Hearing the commotion, the farmer came running. He gently picked up Max and checked his nose. Fortunately, the puppy had only been stung once. The farmer placed a cool cloth on the sore spot and comforted him until he felt better.
By the afternoon, Max was resting peacefully in the shade. His nose was a little swollen, but he was already feeling much better. The experience had taught him an important lesson: not everything that looks interesting is safe to touch.
From that day forward, whenever Max heard the familiar buzz of bees, he kept a respectful distance. He still loved exploring the farm, but now he was a little wiser—and much more careful around beehives.
